Welcome to The College of the Florida Keys Advising Services! Your advisor is here to assist you in each step toward your academic success.
CFK's Academic Advising Services help students plan for success during their time at CFK and beyond. Students are encouraged to stay in communication with their academic advisor to benefit from services available to nurture their progress. Academic advisors help their students create a personalized educational plan that best meets their goals—including degree and course selections, internship options, career preparation, and plans for subsequent degrees.

An academic advisor can help you explore career options and determine your strengths and interests using ONET.
Use what you learn to determine your program of study. Once you chose a primary program of study on your application you will be assigned your own personal advisor. You can contact any of these advisors to learn more about potential programs of study.

The Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) is the primary placement test offered at CFK.The purpose of PERT is to help provide information about your skills in the English language, reading, and mathematics.
